Techniques of Algebra
It is assumed that the reader of these notes has acquired the basic concepts of algebra, such as is contained in the "Elementary Algebra" notes.
Part A revises the algebra that is learnt in high school and then study some more advanced topics such as induction and harder inequalities. Part B studies polynomials well beyond the high school level and Part C is devoted to an introduction to abstract algebra via group theory.
